Joshua is a first-year doctoral student at the Derner School of Psychology at Adelphi University. He received a B.A. in History from Seton Hall University and an M.A. in Psychology in Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. His research interests include how memory processes contribute to cognitive flexibility and adaptation, alongside exploring the use of AI to advance psychological research and practice. Long term, he aims to pursue a career as a psychoanalyst that combines clinical practice with ongoing research and professional development.
Kambria Armstrong

Kambria received dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology and Neuroscience from Arizona State University, and a Master of Science in Behavioral Neuroscience from Temple University. Broadly, her research interests center on cognitive function and rehabilitation in pediatric populations following neurological insults. She is particularly interested in how learning and memory processes are affected by brain injury, and how these systems can be supported through cognitive rehabilitation.
Hemish Naidoo

Hemish is a senior Neuroscience major at Adelphi University, with Biology and Asian Studies Minors, and a member of the Honors College. His primary research interests are in cognitive neuroscience, especially relating to language and communication. He is currently working with Dr. Cowan on a project about how the communication of our memories change overtime with consolidation. After graduating, he plans to apply to medical school with hopes of becoming a neurologist!
Alishba Khan

Alishba is a junior molecular neuroscience major with a minor in Spanish. She is also a member of the honors college at Adelphi and on the pre-med track. She is interested in researching memory and how it relates to motivation, and is looking to pursue a career as a physician in the future.
